The Last Day is a series of black-and-white landscape photographs that explore themes of endings and existence. Through desolate landscapes, remnants of abandoned civilization, and stark contrasts between light and shadow, the work presents a silent vision of a post-human world. These images are not merely about destruction but attempt to interrogate the nature of time, memory, and being: When humans vanish and nature reclaims space, do the traces of civilization still hold meaning? The emptiness and solitude within the frames dissolve anthropocentrism while engaging in a dialectical reflection on eternity and impermanence. This series invites viewers to confront the end and search within it for answers to questions of existence and nothingness.
《當最後一天》是一組探索結束與存在的黑白風景攝影系列。透過荒蕪的景觀、廢棄的文明痕跡以及極端的黑白對比,作品呈現了一個後人類世界的靜默圖像。這些影像並非僅僅關於毀滅,而是試圖追問時間、記憶與存在的本質:當人類消失,自然重新佔據空間,文明的痕跡是否仍有意義?畫面中的空曠與孤寂,既是對人類中心主義的消解,也是對永恆與無常的辯證思考。這組作品邀請觀者直面終結,並在其中尋找關於存在與虛無的答案。
