Abstract:

iHome is a lifestyle app designed to assist underage international students in finding their ideal host families. Based on my personal experience, many underage international students know little about host families and their future living environments. Many students attempt to find so-called ideal host families through agencies, school teachers, or websites. However, the common drawback of these methods is that students cannot personally select their ideal host families. Moreover, due to the distance, they are unable to inspect the living environment beforehand, or they may struggle to get along with roommates due to personality differences. Therefore, I aim to use iHome to help them choose ideal roommates and landlords while also assisting them in making friends and integrating more quickly into local life.

IHome是一款旨在幫助未成年留學生找到其理想寄宿家庭的生活性APP。基於我的個人經驗，許多未成年留學生對寄宿家庭及其未來的生活環境一無所知。許多學生試圖透過中介機構、學校老師或網站尋找所謂的理想寄宿家庭。然而，這些方法的共同缺點是學生無法親自選擇理想的寄宿家庭。並且，由於距離太遠而無法查看其居住環境，或因性格差異無法與室友友好相處。因此，我想透過Ihome來幫助他們選擇理想的室友和房東，同時也可以幫助他們找到朋友更快的融入當地的生活。
